Ann is a Master of Public Health and Master of Science in Social Work candidate at Columbia University with concentrations in epidemiology and policy analysis. Ann is currently an Analyst, Chronic Disease with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials where she provides capacity building and technical assistance to state health departments and public health stakeholders in tobacco control, heart disease, and stroke.
Ann is also a 2022-23 Fisher Cummings Washington Fellow which provides opportunity and training to become national leaders in social policy, administration, and community practice.
Prior to joining the SASH Lab, Ann held multiple roles in the areas of childhood obesity, nutrition, anti-poverty policy, food insecurity, healthy aging, and HIV/AIDS. She hopes to continue to seek practical, humane, and cost-effective solutions that redirect attention towards the social determinants of health. On her free time, she enjoys laughing, Indian classical dance, running, tight hugs, and Ferrero Rocher.
